Stress and anxiety are a perfectly normal and necessary part of life. But when stress and anxiety start to become a dominant, over bearing and negative force that consumes your energy – then it is time to take control.
We live day to day mainly from the conscious mind and pay little attention to the subconscious mind, which is where all of our beliefs are stored. We react to our environment based on past experiences and habits we have built up over our lifetimes. Much of this programming occurs when we are young and unaware of what is taking place.
We draw conclusions from those experiences and store them in the subconscious mind as beliefs, values and attitudes. How we view stress and anxiety and react to pressure is governed by these beliefs.
